I had such a great time here. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and felt really inviting after a day of exploring. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The whole property has a beautiful mountain vibe that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a mix of comfort and luxury in a gorgeous setting.

I was very disappointed with my recent stay. Several issues made the experience unacceptable for a hotel at this price point: ? Bathrobes were severely pilling and had makeup stains, suggesting they were not properly laundered between guests. ? A large coffee stain on the carpet directly outside the room was present when we arrived and was never addressed throughout the stay. ? I found hair from previous guests on two towels in the bathroom. ? Dirty room service food sat in the hallway all day, creating an unpleasant environment. ? Property feels incredibly tired/worn, dark and dingy. Elevators open and close comically slow. ? Staff were inattentive, often confused, and seemed poorly trained I also reached out to the manager, Dan Dickhart, via email regarding these concerns but did not receive any response. Overall, this stay fell far below minimal acceptable standards. I hope the hotel addresses these cleanliness, training, and maintenance issues to improve the guest experience.

Staff was friendly, rooms were nice and clean, property is beautiful, and the skiing was good!

Prices for mediocre food and drink are insulting. $100+ a day extra “resort” and “civic” fees tacked onto daily room charge, they tell you how much they expect to be tipped at the spa without you asking them at spa checkout.. far away from town..absolutely
No activities when there is not enough snow to ski.. told them
Inwas coming for my birthday and not even a happy birthday..we ended up staying at the Sonnenalp in vail half
Of the trip (so i had to pay for 2 rooms at once) because there was nothing to do there and you are up on a hill 20-30 minutes from everything.cant walk anywhere. Must cancel 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE ir they take 100 pct from you. Not accomodating and couldnt care less about your experience. Got the feeling they just wanted to milk everyone for what they could.

Stayed here this past week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From start to finish, the staff was gracious, attentive, and endlessly kind. I’m especially grateful to Julio at the front desk, who went above and beyond in helping with my mom’s mobility needs. Thanks to everyone for such a lovely stay — we’re already looking forward to returning.

The location was very beautiful, we had a nice room #750 with a great view of the mountains. It was a nice atmosphere, very clean and well kept, nice and quiet, decent value, amazing service and amenities. Most of the food was good except for the super salty pepperoni pizza at the bar!

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in recent memory. The staff were phenomenal after proposing to my fiance that day. They created a truly special and unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to come back for our anniversary!
